Bought this item a few months ago from another vendor. Finally got a bluetooth wireless card for my laptop and this doesn't work after being discovered. Supposed to work with native operating system drivers, no go. Broke out my Trendnet usb dongle and set up on my desktop, again device found but didn't work. Tried two different sets of batteries, no change. Each battery verified at 1.57V. Didn't work in windows 7, x64 nor in Ubuntu 12.1 x64.
No support, no website listed on box nor in instructions nor found searching Google or Bing. Not worth your money or time. I am lucky I got this on sale. It would cost me more in gas to return than I paid for it. I got this mouse at Fry's.

I've been using a small and flat Kensington wireless mouse. It's a Kensington SlimBlade Notebook Wireless Mouse with Nano Receiver (K72334US). I liked my Kensington and used it for 3 years. It still works. The Hype Bluetooth mouse is a little narrower and a little longer than the Kensington. Both left and right side of the Hype have an inward slant with curved bottom so the bottom is narrower than the top. I like the shape and feel of the Hype more than the Kensington.
The Hype is lighter in weight. Its Bluetooth saved me one USB outlet. The Hype costs $15. The Kensington was about 34 and still is.
I only good things to say about the Hype so far after using it for a few weeks. Got mine from frys. I wanted a good cheep bluetooth mouse.
So far it has done that well. I am a photographer and i also do lots of work with 3d and blender. It is working great! Bluetooth connects in seconds.
I will update as i use it logner update 1: mouse still is working. Only issue i am seeing is some lag/skips. But all i have to do to get it back to normal is turn it off then back on. Works well for most use and even gaming. Highly recommended update 2: i had a issue with the scroll wheel and it hickuping. When i scroll down. So i returned it to frys.
They gave me a new one and it has been working great!:). I'm intrigued by the other reviews. I bought this mouse for a business trip because my Microsoft Surface Pro has only one USB port and it seemed silly to get a mouse that needs a proprietary USB transceiver (I'm looking at you, Logitech).
It's slim profile slips nicely into a pocket in my laptop bag. The buttons and wheel perform adequately. So far it's been a nearly perfect compliment to my laptop. Only critique would be it went through it's single battery in 3 weeks of near constant use, though it only takes one AA battery. So being the odd-man-out here, I really find this product quite satisfactory.
